In current events there has been a lot of chaos. A days ago on May 5 The Wilderness battle started in a stretch of land between Richmond and D.C. The Confederates started outnumbered but had their own advantage of thick vegetation. This battle was brutal, vicious and confusing. The trees soon caught fire,and killed many soldiers. The casualties number were high but this did not deter the armies. The fighting continued again on May 8-18. The soldiers meet near Spottsylvania bring deaths rates up even higher. The was a nasty battle on both sides. General Lee won, but both sides suffered greatly. How will this affect the war.
